Battle in Megaville

Not great graphics, but this is a fun little one on one fighter where y ou can play 2 player or against the cpu, and you use entirely the kind of big ’special move’ kind of attacks with no basic punch and kick. There are 6 characters to choose between and you can play in story mode or just pick which character you want to fight against for a single VS match:

Hero Fighter

This is a great little fighting game where you can fight one on one or in a kind of free for all melee with as many fighters as you want, including up to 3 human players as well as as many computer controlled characters as you choose. You can set the keys you want to use to play the game, which is handy if you want to have 2 or 3 people playing on the same keyboard. There are three characters - one with a sword, one with a bow and arrow, and one with bare fists, and there are some nice bits in the game play like being able to smash your opponents arrows away with a well time sword swipe.
For some computers this game may take longer to load than most, but it shouldn’t be longer than 20-30 seconds so stick with it. If you get a message saying ‘navigation page was cancelled’ try clicking refresh.
