Swords Saga

Sword Saga calls itself an RPG, but theres not really much role play, so its really what I would call a side scrolling beat em up game with swords. Good fun though, and don’t discount using your fists as well as the sword as there is a pretty cool combo you can do and theres some real satifaction in beating sword wielding bad guys with your fists and feet.

Fierce Fighter

Fierce Fighter is a side scrolling platform fighting game where you fight as the Legend that is Bruce Lee. Although it’s a platform game it plays morre like a one on one fighter, as you only have one enemy on screen at a time, and there are some really tough bosses to fight. There are some cool combo’s and special moves too, including a ’skill’ combo and a massive ‘kill’ combo, both of which can only be used at specific times. Make sure you click help from the start screen before playing to learn the moves and combos.

Gerba Deadly Revenge

In this side scrolling action game you are armed with a sword and you can shoot out throwing stars too. I found it a real challenge to be precise enough with my timing, but the idea is to deflect things that are thrown or shot at you with your sword so that you can get close enough for the kill. There’s a fairly detailed story, about a poisoned emperor and your mission to find the anitdote and kill the assassin’s, and it can be quite addictive to play.
